SHOW SURVIVAL TIPS
Our top 5 tips for making the most of the Spring Home Show
Make the most of your visit to the Tauranga Spring Home Show with our top tips on how to look after yourself and enjoy the day.
Want to avoid the rush? Our advice is simple - visit in the afternoon! Everybody thinks they can beat the crowds by coming early in the morning. But EVERYBODY does it - which means a whole lot of people come at once. Don't worry, the exhibits will be there all day!
Sundays also tend to be the calmest day to visit.
Your feet are going to be in high demand, so treat them kindly by wearing comfortable shoes. We don't recommend using the show as a way to break in your new boots and risk blisters, or show off those awesome stilettos!
Make sure you drink plenty of water. Bringing your own drink bottle is always handy, but if you forget, we have water stations dotted around the show.
It can be tempting to dash around and try to see everything at once! But we invite you to take a breather at one of the rest stops set up around the show. Pop into one of these quiet nooks to sit down, give your feet a break, and have a drink of water. Alternatively, you can duck out of the bustle of the show by obtaining a pass out stamp at the exit gate. Then you can come back later in the day!
We've got plenty of ways to keep the kids occupied at the Spring Home Show so you can relax and browse the exhibits - including balloon art, an awesome bouncy castle, and face painting! See the list here.
It's going to be a fantastic show, and we look forward to seeing you there!
